Welcome to Leonard Gill Design. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of my website and graphic design services. By accessing my website or engaging my services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Leonard Gill Design provides professional graphic design services including, but not limited to:

Brand identity design (logos, color palettes, brand guidelines)
Print design (business cards, brochures, posters, packaging)
Digital design (social media graphics, web graphics, email templates)
Custom illustrations

Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing will be outlined in individual project proposals or contracts.

2. Project Process

Consultation: Each project begins with a consultation to understand your needs, goals, and vision.

Proposal: Following our discussion, I will provide a detailed proposal including scope of work, timeline, and pricing.

Agreement: Work begins upon your acceptance of the proposal and receipt of the required deposit.

Revisions: Unless otherwise specified, projects include a set number of revision rounds. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Delivery: Final files will be delivered upon completion and full payment.

3. Payment Terms

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to begin work on any project.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before final files are delivered.
Payment Methods: I accept payment via bank transfer, PayPal, or other agreed-upon methods.
Late Payments: Invoices not paid within 14 days may be subject to late fees.

4. Intellectual Property

Ownership Transfer: Upon full payment, you will own the rights to the final approved designs created specifically for your project.

Portfolio Rights: I reserve the right to display completed work in my portfolio, website, and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Preliminary Work: All concepts, sketches, and rejected designs remain my intellectual property.

Third-Party Assets: Any stock images, fonts, or other third-party assets used in your project may be subject to their respective licenses.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project completion, clients agree to:

Provide clear project requirements and timely feedback
Supply all necessary materials, content, and assets
Respond to communications within reasonable timeframes
Ensure they have the rights to use any materials provided to me
Make payments according to agreed terms

6. Project Delays

I strive to meet all agreed-upon deadlines. However, timelines may be affected by:

Delayed feedback or approvals from the client
Changes to project scope
Circumstances beyond reasonable control

I will communicate promptly about any anticipated delays.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Client Cancellation: If you cancel a project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. Additional fees may apply based on work completed.
Designer Cancellation: If I am unable to complete a project, I will refund any payments for work not yet delivered.

8. Limitation of Liability

I provide design services to the best of my professional ability. However:

I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my designs.
My total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project in question.
I am not responsible for printing errors made by third-party vendors.

9. Confidentiality

I will treat all client information and project details as confidential. I will not share sensitive business information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

10. Website Use

When using my website, you agree not to:

Copy, modify, or distribute website content without permission
Use automated systems to access the website
Attempt to interfere with the website's functionality
Use the website for any unlawful purpose

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leonard Gill Design from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the designs or any breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.

13. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of my services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
